Dr. Karl Malicdem, O.D.

Dr. Malicdem received his Doctor of Optometry from New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA in 2006 after graduating from Towson University with a B.S. in biological sciences in 1999. While at Towson University, Karl completed a minor in Spanish at the U. of Maryland, Baltimore County, in Catonsville.
His internships included Upham’s Community Heal Center in Dorchester, MA and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Baltimore.
Dr. Malicdem has worked for Lens Crafters, Strickland Eye Care, For Eyes and Katzen Eye Group. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, and a volunteer with VOSH – Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and was the mission organizer to Baharona, Dominican Republic to name just a few of his many hours of volunteer work in his field through the Lion’s Club of Massachusetts and the Mission to Chetumal, Mexico.
Dr. Malicdem is married with two children.
